Workshops are open to all parent/carers or professionals who live or work in Wokingham or West Berkshire. Workshops relate to children, young people or adults with additional needs but NO diagnosis is required to be able to attend these workshops.

We run these courses at a variety of venues across Wokingham & West Berkshire.
Our workshops are usually FREE to attend, covering topics linked to neurodivergence, including:
Sleep Matters
This workshop is suitable for parents/carers and professionals with an interest in sleep difficulties for children/young people with additional needs.
The workshop is interactive, including working in small groups to learn together and share ideas.
We learn about:
- The stage of sleep & the sleep cycle
- Sleep issues, triggers & sleep associations
- Sleep strategies, tips & ideas
- Sleep diaries & sleep routines
Carers Matter
This workshop is suitable for anybody in an unpaid caring role (whether you are caring for another adult or your own child with additional needs). The workshop is also suitable for professionals if you would like to learn more about how to support carers or parent carers within your job role.
The workshop is highly interactive, including working in small groups to learn together and share ideas.
We learn about:
- Who a carer is and the impact it has
- Emotional support
- Your rights & recognition as a carer
- Carers assessments
- Financial support you may be entitled to
