PIP Explained!

An easy to follow, practical 2 hour workshop on PIP, with real-life examples, group activities & guided support in a neurodivergent friendly space.

This is a hands-on session, with activity-based learning and the opportunity to start your own PIP form questions with our guidance, together with plenty of time for your questions!

Currently delivered in person and online.


We’ll cover:

* An overview of PIP eligibility
* Does your ‘everyday normal’ shows support needs you didn’t realise?
* Guidance on completing your PIP form & gathering evidence
* Assessment preparation and self-care strategies
* Top tips, myths and common pitfalls
* Begin 1–2 answers so you leave with a starting point, not a blank form

* Activity-based interactive learning as well as structured slides

DLA Explained!

An easy to follow, practical 2 hour workshop on DLA (Child DLA), with real-life examples, group activities & guided support in a neurodivergent friendly space.

Workshops & Online Support Groups: Designed for Neurodivergent Adults

Explore supportive, practical sessions designed to help you understand yourself, connect with others and build confidence.
The workshops below are all free, thanks to funding from Wokingham Borough Council.
These workshops are for neurodivergent adults to attend in a safe and neuro-affirming space. We never require a diagnosis for you to attend.
(These workshops are suitable for any neurodivergent condition, such as autism, ADHD, learning difficulties or learning disabilities).
You are welcome to book a partner, family member, support person or friend to come along with you if you wish.

Attend the full set of four workshops, or just the sessions you need. There’s no pressure — choose what suits you.
We are running these workshops in person in Wokingham as morning or evening sessions. They are currently open to Wokingham residents.
(Please contact us if you live outside of Wokingham Borough and would like to be added to the waiting list for our next set of sessions).

Understanding neurodivergence to understand yourself 

This session explores different neurodivergent conditions, how traits overlap, and why self-diagnosis and formal diagnosis are both valid.

A supportive space to understand yourself – because every neurodivergent person is unique.

Currently delivered in person in Wokingham for Wokingham residents.

We’ll cover:

* Understanding some neurodivergent conditions & how traits overlap
* Explore co-occurrence
* Looking at self-diagnosis and formal diagnosis (both valid options)
* Understanding barriers to diagnosis &
* Why traits can be missed (masking, gender, culture etc)
* Identifying strengths, challenges and reframing unhelpful narratives
* An introduction to self-advocacy
* Learning kinder self-language and reducing shame

Executive Functioning & Sensory Processing

A practical, neuro-affirming workshop exploring how your sensory system and interoception can shape your everyday experiences.

We look at how masking affects sensory overwhelm, how to support your body’s recovery after overload, and how to build the self-advocacy skills needed to choose strategies that truly work for you.

Currently delivered in person in Wokingham for Wokingham residents.

We’ll cover:

* Sensory processing: how it affects emotions, energy & daily function
* How masking impacts sensory overwhelm and recognition of needs
* Identifying your sensory triggers and patterns
* Strategies for sensory recovery and repairing after overload
* Tools and approaches to help regulate your sensory system
* Building simple self-advocacy skills to communicate your needs
* Choosing and implementing personalised supports that work for you

Communication: a neurodivergent conversation

This workshop is designed to offer valuable insights and practical tools.

The workshop is led by experienced trainers who have been successfully using these communication tools in their personal lives for years, with one trainer bringing first-hand insight as an ADHD individual and introducing the voices of other members of our neurodivergent workforce.

Currently delivered in person in Wokingham for Wokingham residents.

We’ll cover:

* How communication works: words, tone, pitch and body language
* How neurodivergence shapes communication styles and expectations
* Exploring our communication preferences and understanding others’
* How executive functioning impacts conversations, focus, timing & responses
* Can sensory processing affect communication?
* How could misunderstandings occur & escalate
* Strategies to de-escalate misunderstandings and reconnect
* Practical tips for communicating your needs & boundaries
* Supportive strategies for recovery after social interactions or communication overwhelm
* Real examples & insights from our neurodivergent trainer & workforce

Shaping our world to support our authentic selves: what happens when we can’t?

A practical workshop exploring how to shape your home, work and daily routines in ways that genuinely support your authentic neurodivergent self.

We look at what helps, what gets in the way, and what happens when we can’t (or don’t) make the adjustments we need.

Currently delivered in person in Wokingham for Wokingham residents.

We’ll cover:

* Home environment adjustments, including home-working
* Understanding work environment and reasonable adjustments
* Introduction to Access to Work and what support it may offer
* Why transitions are hard and practical ways to manage them
* How masking affects energy, functioning and sustainability
* Burnout: why it happens and why rest matters
* Simple self-advocacy skills to ask for the right adjustments

Adult ADHD online support group

Join Rachael and Sara for a relaxed 60 minutes in a judgment-free space created for ADHD adults. Whether you were diagnosed recently, later in life, have lived with ADHD for years, or are still exploring the possibility — you are welcome here.

This friendly peer-support group is open to anyone aged 18+ who feels they belong, regardless of diagnosis. It’s a place to connect with others who truly understand ADHD through lived experience.

We don’t promise all the answers — just a supportive, validating space where being yourself is enough.
Just bring yourself, your curiosity and your unique brain.

What we offer:

* One hour support group online, twice a month (Thursdays 7-8pm)
* A relaxed, judgment-free space for ADHD adults
* Open to anyone 18+ — diagnosed, self-identifying or exploring ADHD
* Peer support from people who understand lived ADHD experience
* Space to share challenges, celebrate wins and explore strategies
* Hosted by Rachael (late-diagnosed) & Sara (ADHD since childhood)
* A supportive environment: we don’t claim to have all the answers
* Completely free to attend
