We’re here to help you every step of the way.
Are you an autistic or neurodiverse adult? Are you a parent or carer of a child with additional needs? Do you need some one to advice, information or somebody to chat to?
We are here for you for one to one appointments face to face, over the phone or online via Teams. Whichever you prefer!
We have liaison workers who are here to help.
For one to one in person appointments, we work in the Wokingham Community Hub alternate Tuesday’s and Wednesdays’ from 11am to 3pm. You can drop in (check facebook for our dates) or you can book with us to be sure you get the time you need.
This is a free service!
What can we help with?
This is a safe and confidential space for you to talk without being judged.
We can help you to find the right information for:
Benefits
We can help you to check you are getting the benefits you are entitled to and give you advice on how to apply. We can also check and review your PIP or DLA forms and give you advice on the application process or the appeals process.
Socialising
We can give you more information about the clubs and groups we run and help you to sign up. We can also help you to find information about suitable groups or clubs that might be relevant to you and point you in the right direction to join up.
Health & Wellbeing
If you find it confusing to know where to go for medical or mental health help, we can help you. We can help you find a local GP or dentist and show you what you need to do to register. If you think you need support with your mental health, we can give you some guidance on who to speak to and we are always happy to listen if you need us
Finances
So many of us are struggling with the cost of living now, so if you need some help with budgeting, need to know where to go for debt advice or need some information about foodbanks or where to go to get help with food, come and chat to us! (If you are eligible we can refer you to your local foodbank).
Employment & Education
If you need a few pointers on where to go for employment or education guidance then we can help! We can help you to find the information you need or refer you to other organisations for support.
Adult Care Support
Check if you are entitled to an adult care assessment or a carers assessment. If you think you might be entitled to some extra support from the Local Authority, let us help go guide you through the steps you need to take.
