I work at the Adult Social Group in Newbury as as a liaison worker.
Because I am a parent carer to my daughter who has global developmental delay and a son with ADHD and Tourette’s, I can share with others how life with a teenager with ADHD was. The highs & the lows, including his achievements to go on to full-time work and passing his driving test.
I have 5 grandchildren that keep me busy.
I am the Activity Leader for our multi-sports sessions, football club and teen club.
I have experience teaching martial arts, coaching a variety of sports activities for children & adults and as a Teaching Assistant for autistic teenagers.
I enjoy being active myself and helping children & young people to enjoy physical activities or sports that they might otherwise not want to engage in.
In my spare time I train in martial arts and take part in MMA fights.
I am an activity worker for Multi-Sports and Teen Club.
Currently I am in college studying to become a Personal Trainer. I’ve worked with children with additional needs for 5 years (teaching martial arts and working for ASD Family Help). My sister and some of my friends are autistic, so I see first-hand how difficult things can sometimes be.
I am a bubbly and enthusiastic person and enjoy coaching children to learn new skills whist also having fun.
In my spare time I spend a lot of time in the gym and training MMA !
I volunteer at the Adult Social Group in Wokingham and have been
volunteering with the charity for 14 years.
I work as a carer supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism.
I have two sons who are both autistic.
My hobbies include going for walks, meeting up with friends, scrapbooking, making cards and crochet.
I work at the Adult Social Group in Newbury. I am the Pastoral Worker/DDSL in a Secondary school and have spent the past 15 years working alongside young people with a range of additional needs.
I’ve worked with ASD Family Help for several years and made some fabulous memories with a great group of people.
I have 4 kids and 12 grandkids, some of whom have their own difficulties, which is even more reason to work with such a great charity. Making activities inclusive so everyone can access them is the greatest feeling.
I work at the parent support groups to help entertain any young children
that may attend.
I am studying child care at college but I also work in a nursery and spend
time looking after my nephew.
I enjoy working with children with additional needs.
In my spare time, I enjoy arts & crafts, photography and shopping.

I work at our Adult Social Group in Newbury.
I work in the SEND department of a secondary school with young people with additional needs. I’m grateful to be able to support them in their educational challenges. It’s a wonderful experience working for ASD Family Help; being part of the team and the amazing people it supports.
I’m a mum of 2 adult children. My son hasn’t had the easiest time through adolescence and it has been a journey that I believe helps me in my work.
I love spending time with my family, doing anything creative or musical, and looking after my extremely pampered cat, Fergie.
