Sarah – Treasurer <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was previously a volunteer at children\u2019s and adults\u2019 activities which I really enjoyed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Currently, I am a qualified accountant so I am happy to use my skills to support the charity as their Treasurer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I love live music and often attend gigs or festivals on weekends.

Dave – Chairman<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have volunteered with with ASD Family Help for many years before becoming the Chairman and I still enjoy volunteering at events\/activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I run my own company, so I actively listen to what people need. Helping to raise my autistic stepson has deepened my understanding of neurodivergent individuals. I confidently advocate for what our charity needs.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Teresa – Secretary<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

My family and close friends include autistic and neurodiverse individuals, so I witness firsthand the hard work families put in to gain the help and understanding they need to achieve their goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My background is in Accounting\/IT. I am a hobby photographer with a passion for animals. 4 dogs (1 rescue) & 2 rescue horses are part of our family – I am certified in canine\/equine massage, so I use this as part of their rehab\/therapy.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Loraine – Trustee (HR)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am a keen member of the Committee and love to support our weekly parent\/carer group and get involved in fundraising. I’m keen to help other parents\/carers and to share my experiences of living with someone with the condition, to provide support to others finding life challenging.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At present, I work in an IT company in the project management department, which gives me skills dealing with difficult situations.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jane – Trustee (Safeguarding Wales)<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I previously worked as a Head teacher in a Primary School and I also worked as the the school ALNco, so I have a passion for supporting neurodiverse pupils.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At present I am a trainee Counsellor\/ Psychotherapist with my own practice.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In my leisure time I love to read, watch films and chat with family and friends over tea and cake.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sally – Trustee<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I retired 4 years ago from work as an Educational Psychologist for Pembrokeshire County Council for 26 years and prior to that as a primary school teacher. For the past 15 years I worked as a Senior EP with responsibility for autism and as part of the ASD diagnostic team based at Withybush Hospital.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have led Cub Scouts in Haverfordwest for 25 years, supporting many autistic Cubs and Scouts to fully participate in our activities.

Annette – Trustee<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The charity supported me when both my boys were diagnosed with ASD, so I\u2019m glad to give back.

The skills I bring to the charity are my experience of being a mum of 2 autistic children as well as the understanding of the pressures that brings to the family. I enjoy helping the charity at events & fundraisers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
